Youth Summer Camps ... Non Profit Rates
Re-connecting youth to the outdoors with experiences they won't forget... is what we are about.
To keep prices lower we offer a shorter version trip... with some of our favorite experiences.
Our trips offers a taste of everything as the youth paddle down the Grand River. Even though we have canoes and kayaks... we highly recommend using rafts... rafts will not tip over... great for six years and up!
A 3-4 hour rafting itinerary includes trying cold spring water, visiting an old gypsum 1830 mine, learning to make fire without matches, a 400m body surfing area and a BBQ site with washrooms for lunch,
Our goal is not to rush the students. Our non-profit trips end at our early takeout to insure the opportunity to body surf.
A group can bring lunch or their own food for a BBQ along the river. We provide waterproof bags in each raft for cameras and cell phones.
We can easily handle 2-3 full bus loads at once.
Cost for our non profit summer youth camps... 3-4 hour rafting trip is $40.00 per person with tax included. Price includes guides, rafts, paddles, life jackets, dry bags and learning experiences. If group needs a bus shuttle back to the start point... add $5.00 per person plus HST. A gas BBQ at the picnic site can be rented for $30 plus HST per BBQ.
Our start point in Paris has bus parking and washrooms.
In our area the river averages 1 meter in depth with a 2 km/hr current speed... so if you tip over, stand up! The wilderness landscape is filled with all types of birds... people find it hard to believe they are one hour from Toronto

Dumping out the fake stuff... and filling up with the real stuff... is the highlight of spring water.
You need to make reservations by email or phone in advance... because we meet you where your trip starts.
It is important to recognize that the weather-news channels are about 20% accurate in their daily forecasting... we are around 85% accurate!
If the weather is bad, we will contact you telling you to save your money and not come. With our cancelation you can get a full refund or pick another date... whatever is best for you.
Also if water levels are what we consider unsafe to paddle... we will cancel our trips with the option to raft or go in a non-tip yak... your safety with us is more important than your money!
We are the only incorporated outfitter business on the river carrying full liability as required by the Grand River Conservation Authority.
We have risk management plans in place, adult waivers and youth consent forms... and our interpretive staff is top notch, undergoing a 3 week training course.
