All our routes offer an amazing wilderness setting.
The Paris to Brant Run is 13km long. On this route is fresh spring water, an old mine from the 1830s, a riverside picnic area with washrooms and campsites, a 400m body surfing area and an early takeout point if you wish to cut 1 hour off your trip. This trip offers the highest chance of seeing turtles, blue herons and bald eagles. It also has an ice cold creek called Whitemans Creek... that you can try sitting in!
The Glen Morris to Paris Run is about 11km long. This trip has about 6-7 short sections of fast water, 1km in total. Average time for this trip is 2-3 hours. This trip has a picnic area and portapotties at the beginning and end. There are fresh water springs along the way and an island to stop for lunch. This trip ends at the Three Sisters... the oldest rail bridge from the 1850's... looks like something out of Lord of the Rings! There is a lookout on the top of the Three Sisters, which you can hike to from the river.
The Cambridge to Paris starts six kms further north of our Glen Morris starts point.
Price includes your boat, paddles, life jackets, dry bags for your camera & phones, shuttle ride and a river map to follow.
A group guide can be added for $150.00 plus HST.

Map of Routes
Paddling the Grand River is a must do! In our area the river averages 1 meter in depth with a 2 km/hr current speed... so if you tip over, stand up! The wilderness landscape is filled with all types of birds... people find it hard to believe they are one hour from Toronto.
You need to make reservations by email or phone in advance... because we meet you where your trip starts.
It is important to recognize that the weather-news channels are about 20% accurate in their daily forecasting... we are around 85% accurate!
If the weather is bad, we will contact you telling you to save your money and not come. With our cancelation you can get a full refund or pick another date... whatever is best for you.
Also if water levels are what we consider unsafe to paddle... we will cancel our trips with the option to raft or go in a non-tip yak... your safety with us is more important than your money!
We are the only incorporated outfitter business on the river carrying full liability as required by the Grand River Conservation Authority.
