GRAND RIVER DISCOUNTS
1) Turbo Tubing Discount... for 2019 if there are six or more people in the group, the price is $32.00 per person plus HST. If under six people, the price is $36.00 per person plus HST
2) The Blue Canoe Special... in 2019 we will be handing out two Blue Canoe wooden nickels per person. These wooden nickels can be used to get discounts at any participating merchant in Paris.
- Ask the merchant what their Blue Camoe Special is
- Hand in your nickel.
- Get the discount applied
Each merchant offers their own Blue Canoe Special... so the discount could be for food, drinks or store items. Example... the Blue Dog at the Wincey Mill in Paris gives 10% off all food & beverage purchases upon exchange of a Blue Canoe wooden nickel.
NEW FOR 2019
Introducing the Super Board... this is a 6-7 person stand up paddleboard. Groups and families can rent this 18 foot x five feet wide board to do a "Huck Fin" paddle down the Grand.The boards are extremely stable... great for kids to get off and on. We have 4 of these boards for rent at $150 per board plsu $10 per person plus HST. Price includes super board, paddles, life jackets, map and shuttle ride upstream.
Also new to 2019 is our 12 person rafts that can hold up to 3,000 lbs. For groups larger then 8 people wishing to travel down the river together. The cost is $200 for the raft plus $10 per person plus HST. Available on the Paris to Brant Park Paddle. Price includes super board, paddles, life jackets, map and shuttle ride upstream.

Two Row On The Grand... a Healing Paddle Between the First Nations and Non Aboriginal Neighbours... July 24-Aug 1, 2019, where the public can paddle for two days, 4 days or 9 days with the Haudenosaunee down the Grand River from Cambridge to Lake Erie. Along the way will be Native educational speakers, events, artisans, visits to historical points of interest and camping... link.
Paranormal Night Paddle to a First Nations Mansion... travel down the river at night to Chiefswood Home... then stay with a paranormal team as they seek contact... link.
Kayaks & Yoga... A "Liquid Medicine for the Soul Experience" as you kayak, do yoga and meditate on a 3-5 session on the Grand River.... link
Trip to the Tip... travel in an 11 man zodiac coast guard boat through the marshes of Turkey Point out to the World Biosphere at the tip of Long Point in the middle of Lake Erie... link
