This section is great for any skill level including novices and families, it has some quick sections with one class one rapid called the “Big Bloop” which you can go through or around. It is very picturesque with steep hills that are heavily forested. There are many spots to stop and enjoy the quiet tranquility of the great outdoors. The popular Sarah’s Island is a great place to stop and picnic or just enjoy the day.
There are no portages on this trip.
To park at Brant Conservation Area you must pay park admission, which includes use of pool and picnic areas. Overnight camping is also available at the park.
