Gilkison flats to Beach Rd. – 2.5 Hours

A nice family run with some quick sections at the beginning of the trip as you paddle by the bluffs of Tutela Heights and the Bell Homestead were the telephone was invented, then the river deepens and slows at the start of the Oxbow. Great for a lazy, hazy summer’s day. With lots of wildlife to see this is one of our most popular trips. There are no portages on this trip.
