A beautiful stretch of river that travels through valleys and Carolinian Forest. The river between Cambridge and Glen Morris is very placid with ruins of an old mill on the left bank. The river then picks up speed from Glen Morris to Paris where most of the river’s elevation change occurs. Downstream of Glen Morris are the exhilarating Sharp’s Rapids (Class One). There are some beautiful islands on this stretch to stop and picnic.
There is a portage at the end of the trip in Paris.
