Heritage River Canoe & Kayak Company is a canoe, kayak and raft outfitter providing quality outdoor experiences and eco adventures since 1999. We service two of southern Ontario’s favorite paddling destinations the Grand River and Nith River. These two Ontario rivers are open for paddling from late April through early November and are just 1 hour west of Toronto, Ontario. The Grand River is a Canadian Heritage River and flows through scenic Carolinian Forest and through towns like Cambridge, Paris and Brantford. Riverside camping is available at Brant Conservation Area and other Grand River Conservation Authority run parks. The Grand River is also getting world wide recognition for it’s exceptional fishing with the stretch between Paris and Brantford being designated as “Exceptional Waters.” It is also known for it’s beautiful Carolinian forest fall colors.
Heritage River Canoe & Kayak Company offers Gift Certificates for canoe, kayak and raft trips and lessons for the 2010/2011 paddling sessions. Gift Certificates are also available for our winter indoor kayak pool sessions and our raft float fishing trips.
Heritage River will be offering indoor pool kayak sessions at Ross Mc Donald School for the Blind in Brantford.
Heritage River Canoe & Kayak Company is a member of the Ontario Recreational Canoeing and Kayaking Association (ORCKA) and works with the Grand River Conservation Authority in keeping the Grand River and Grand River watershed pristine.
